As a part of teacher appreciation week we asked the staff what words would they use to describe each other. Sometimes just knowing that the people you work with every day think wonderful things about you makes the hard moments easier ❤️

We had a great morning celebrating all that the Nashville Early Education Coalition has done the last year! Our Executive Director, Alyssa Garnett Arno has worked on the advisory council along side local and state officials, local business leaders, philanthropy and childcare providers to work towards finding solutions to make childcare more accessible and affordable for all families.

We are excited to see how they work through these goals in the year to come!

During the Week of the Young Child we are celebrating all our little friends and the excitement they have when they experience something new and fun! Today our friends from SMV at Renewal House made tasty treats 😋 Toddlers made edible play dough, Two year olds made dirt cups, and Pre-K made ice cream. Yummy treats for everyone!

This new center strengthens our ability to champion accessible, affordable, quality early childhood education in our community, and is the second of four new centers in the Nashville area to be established and run by Saint Mary Villa as a result of a $1.93 million grant from the Tennessee Department of Human Services. Saint Mary Villa is a ministry of the Diocese of Nashville.
