’Twas the Day Before the First Day of School -
A Welcome from Principal Williams
’Twas the day before school, and all through Westmeade,
The building was ready for the year we had made.
The halls had been polished, the classrooms were bright,
And everything sparkled from morning to night.
The rooms had been dressed with such beautiful care,
With welcoming spaces and learning everywhere.
The tables were ready, the materials too,
And every detail was waiting for you.
Our teachers are ready, our hearts full of cheer,
Excited to welcome each Wolf back this year.
We’ve planned and prepared, and we’re ready to start,
With passion for learning and love in our hearts.
There’s something exciting about a fresh start—
New dreams to discover, new goals to impart.
New friendships to make, new challenges to face,
And opportunities waiting in every place.
At Westmeade, we know that greatness won’t grow
By simply standing still—it takes courage to go.
It takes teamwork and kindness, determination and pride,
And knowing your pack will be right by your side.
So step through our doors with your head held high,
Let curiosity lead you and your dreams reach the sky.
Bring your best self, your talents, your voice—

For we are a family, united and strong,
