Years ago, I had the honor of not only coaching G.E.M. 鄧紫棋 but also singing BGVs on some of her records and live tracks. Always a blast. She is such a lovely human. Her immense talent is eclipsed only by her humility and warmth. I can’t think of anyone who deserves super stardom more.

Wilson killed it last night as the lead in BGA’s spring musical, All Shook Up! He was a kid in little round glasses when we started working together and now he’s the handsome lead making the girls faint. 😆 I couldn’t be prouder.

So much fun watching these youngsters (including my student, Eloise) sing and dance their way through their spring choir concert.

What an incredible moment for Wilson. He went to NYC to be part of a chamber choir concert at Carnegie Hall, was chosen to be part of a feature trio, and had a solo. AT CARNEGIE HALL!! What an incredible opportunity for these youngsters to perform in such a sacred musical space .

Congrats to my long time client, Prestyn Smith, on completing her first tour opening for True Blood. You’re killing all of it P-Pod and I’m soooo proud of you.
It’s so easy…

Awesome mention of VPC in Music Row Magazine! Thank you to music journalist Lorie Hollabaugh for making that happen. It takes a village and I’m grateful you’re all part of mine.

Attended Battle Ground Academy’s Artist Guild event last night. Saw some amazing visual art, read some great poetry and prose, then watched my 16-yr-old student Wilson kill it singing Chris Brown’s song Residuals. Proud Mama Bear moment!

Happens to all of us. Mistakes are some of my favorite moments on stage. It’s all about seeing performance with the healthiest perspective.
If there are any actual performers who read my posts, I’d love to hear some of your stories about how making mistakes has helped you grow.
