Whitsitt Workshop for Families this Friday! We hope you will join us on Friday, September 4th from 8:15 AM - 9:15 AM in the Whitsitt Library for our next Whitsitt Workshop for Families!

Mrs. Holden, our School Counselor, will lead a supportive workshop to help families better understand anxiety and learn effective strategies to support children. You’ll leave with practical, ready-to-use tools to support your child at home!

September is Attendance Awareness Month!

As we head into September, we want to remind our Whitsitt families that attendance matters! All day. Every day. Being at school every day helps students make the most of every learning opportunity.

For the month of September, students who miss less than 3 days of school will earn a prize at our next Attendance Celebration. Let's make September a great month of learning!

Our next Whitsitt Workshop for Families is this Friday, September 4th from 8:15 AM - 9:15 AM in the Whitsitt Library! We are excited to invite all Whitsitt families to join us!!

You will have the opportunity to connect with Mrs. Holden, our School Counselor, as she hosts this supportive workshop where you will gain insight and encouragement! This workshop is geared to empower you to:

*Recognize and interrupt the cycle of anxiety in your child
*Respond with effective strategies
*Equip your child with confidence to overcome their worries

Today is our first Attendance Celebration of the school year! 🎉

All students who had perfect attendance during the first two weeks of school are selecting a prize for their positive efforts during lunch today! We are excited to recognize this accomplishment and celebrate the many students who have shown up ready to learn each day.

We love celebrating our Kindergarten students who are already building strong attendance habits! Keep it up, Kindergarten!

There will be many more opportunities to celebrate attendance throughout the year, so let's start this week strong and work toward our next attendance celebration!

Congratulations to the following Whitsitt students who submitted hand-drawn portraits of Nashville SC players that were selected to be displayed inside the stadium at tonight's match!

We are so proud of these talented artists and the way they represent our Whitsitt school community!
