Favorite lesson of the year.
Nature is the root (pardon the pun) of all knowledge. Within it contains every subject within academia.
Picking wild violets for lemonade syrup and getting a lesson in alkaline vs acidic and how that can be a visual change aka "magic"!

If y'all have landscaping netting out and it's NOT flush to the ground like it's supposed to be, please trim it up or put some soil/mulch on top.
It's such a hazard to native snakes. They poke their heads through and get stuck trying to get out.
As scary as they may be to some, they are WILDLY important to the ecosystem.

Big changes ahead.
No more beige.
No more monochromatic.
ALL the color.
The new color pallette of home.

With only half the garden planted, and late at that, I am so grateful for this first harvest to offer our friends at CGMS as they complete their Montessori training this summer on campus.
