Your triggers, your emotional reactions are not a bad thing and they don't mean you haven't made progress. They are just there to remind you of what areas still need some attention and healing.
Be kind and patient with yourself. You're doing the inner work to heal wounds you didn't make. That takes incredible strength, bravery and a rawness that can be terrifying. Yet, here you are. Amazing. I honor you.
