Phi Alpha Theta recognizes outstanding students of history with membership in its national honors society, while also promoting the study of history.
Phi Alpha Theta- Alpha Beta Iota Chapter is the local national honors society for history at Vanderbilt University. It is comprised of students who have demonstrated exemplary skill in the study of history during their undergraduate careers. It seeks both to recognize these student for their achievements and organize programming and outreach to promote the study of history.
