Lipscomb Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetic Internship Education and Professional Experience How Lipscomb’s combined MS DI is different from other programs:
1. We partner with 10 Nashville area hospitals.

We have unique specialty offerings in our internship: Sports Nutrition, Health Promotion & Wellness or MNT, including pediatrics and eating disorders.
2. We are located in Nashville, the Healthcare Capitol of the US, allowing our program to partner with many different organizations serving as potential future employers for our grads.
3. We are a faith-based institution with faculty who nurt

ure the whole person and are intentional in setting our students up for success through strategic placement within rotations through use of the Predictive Index Behavioral Assessment.
4. Our 5-semester program allows a student to complete the comprehensive curriculum in the 1st 3 semesters of the MS DI (in-person or remotely) while the last 2 in experiential rotations must be in Nashville.
5. Additional rotations are scheduled in School Nutrition, WIC, Second Harvest Food Bank, Long-term Care facilities, Renal clinics, Outpatient clinics and specialty areas of sports nutrition, health promotion and wellness, and eating disorder experiences. Lipscomb’s combined MS and DI program is using the spring DICAS application cycle which will have applications due by Feb 1 and accepted offers by March 15th for an August start. We will review all applications and hold ZOOM interviews February 13 and 14th.
