Metro Social Services partners with Greater St. John M.B.Church to serve the community, churches and city. The event will take place ever third Tuesday of each month, from noon to 3:00 pm.

200 food boxes will be distributed and the distribution will be on a first-come, first -served basis.

If you need a referral for mental health services, grief counseling, housing assistance, job opportunities, or resource assistance, please let us know.

An on-site case manager will be available to assist those in need.

Blood Assurance blood bank will also be on site. If you want to donate blood and help save lives, please donate on Tuesday, August 18,2026, and receive a $25.00 E-gift card.

📣 Churchwell Bears, Get Ready to Level Up! 🐻💙

We are excited for a new school year and a new opportunity to grow, learn, and achieve together!

Beginning this school year, MNPS school times will change. Churchwell doors will open at 7:55 AM, and the school day will officially begin at 8:10 AM. Students will be dismissed each afternoon at 3:10 PM.

Being on time helps our Bears start each day ready to learn, engage with their classmates and teachers, and make the most of every opportunity to shine.

📅 Save the date: Tuesday, August 11, 2026, is the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

We can’t wait to welcome our Churchwell Bears back as we Level Up in learning, leadership, and success. Let’s make this an incredible year! 🚀🐻

Join the NAACP Nashville Branch for their Community Cookout & School Supplies Drive benefiting Robert Churchwell Museum Magnet Elementary School.

Bring a new backpack or school supplies to help local students start the school year ready to learn.

While you're here, enjoy a free community cookout, register to vote, and learn about the work of the NAACP Nashville Branch.
