Caitlin Williams, Statewide TECTA Coordinator and Kelly Maupin, DSCC TECTA Director, are presenting at and attending the Tennessee College, Career, and Technical Education Institute in Chattanooga, Tennessee. They are promoting the use of funding and support for Early Post-Secondary Opportunities through TECTA for high school students seeking a future career working with children.

Congratulations to Ciera Goulsby, our TECTA Apprentice who recently completed TECTA Orientation training. Apprentices work in licensed child care programs and receive free training and tuition support from TECTA. Contact us at [email protected] to learn about apprenticeship opportunities in your area.

TECTA is currently hiring qualified applicants to join our Early Childhood Apprenticeship Program. Apprentices will receive on the job training, mentorship and coaching, and tuition support for higher education with pay starting at $15 per hour.
