Hearing Tim McGraw bring this one to life means more than I can put into words. This song has lived quietly with me for years, and watching it step into the world like this – especially now – just feels right.

Thinking of my beloved co-writer Will Hopkins today – I miss him dearly, but for those of us who loved him, there is something so sweet about his message making its way into the world in this way 🙂

This song has been in my pocket for a few years now. I have loved it, been inspired by its message and thought that there couldn’t be a better time to release it for ya’ll. In the times we live in, sometimes a gentle reminder of what the “message” really means can hit home in many ways. I hope you have a wonderful, grateful and fulfilling Easter weekend.

Can't let March come to a close without acknowledging Colon Cancer Awareness Month... As a colon cancer survivor (2011), I am living proof that colonoscopies save lives. And with CRC turning up in younger & younger people, it's even more important to get screened.

Without that, I wouldn't be here to make sure my students are Travis-picking correctly or to be madly preparing for our daughter Caroline's April wedding in Arizona (pics to come!)...
