So proud of the Belmont Equestrian Club winning Student Organization of the Year award and Student Leader of the Year award presented by Sara Stacy, Assistant Director of Student Organizations. It is such an honor as the club president to accept the awards on behalf of our club. I have enjoyed working and riding horses with our amazing team members every day! Our hard work paid off this semester! Let's go Belmont Equestrian Team!

I am so proud of our team this year and our success as an university. We have worked hard over the last 12 months to be competitive and I couldn't be happier with the way we ended the 2013-2014 IHSA show season. This was our first year and we received 7th place overall for Zone 5, Region 1! We are right underneath Maryville and UT. Go Equestrian@BU!!!!

Another great horse show at Murray State this weekend. What a good way to end the 2013-2014 IHSA show season. If you are interested in joining or finding our more information about the Belmont University Equestrian Club our next meeting is March 12th from 4:30-6 at Chagos on Belmont Blvd. We are starting recruitment for the Fall 2014 equestrian team!

Caitlyn Marsh placed 1st in Beginner Walk Trot Canter, Morgan Wilters placed 3rd in Advanced Walk Trot Canter, Julie Anderson placed 5th in Novice Flat, Allison Harpole placed in Advanced Walk Trot Canter, Mary Ritchea placed 2nd in Novice Over Fences, and Courtney O'Connor placed 5th in Novice Flat. Congrats Belmont University Equestrian Club . Come out and watch us compete again tomorrow at the Tennessee Miller Coliseum in Murfreesboro beginning at 9 AM!
