Happy Feast of St. Joseph of Cupertino! The year is off to a great start. Please pray for our students and teachers as they make this year a great success!

For those of you that don't read the notices in the Tennessean, SJCA's Notice of Nondiscriminatory Policy As To Students appeared in the News section last week. This is a big step on the road to attaining 501(c)(3) status.

Thank you to all of you who prayed with us and offered your financial support leading up to the Feast of the Assumption. We were so blessed by all of your generous hearts. We are now up to 24 students and our first week of school was a huge success.

The students and teachers had a great first (half) day of school this morning, and they are ready for a great school year!

Mary, Queen Assumed into Heaven, I rejoice that after years of heroic martyrdom on earth, you have at last been taken to the throne prepared for you in heaven by the Holy Trinity.

Lift my heart with you in the glory of your Assumption above the dreadful touch of sin and impurity. Teach me how small earth becomes when viewed from heaven. Make me realize that death is the triumphant gate through which I shall pass to your Son, and that someday my body shall rejoin my soul in the unending bliss of heaven.

From this earth, over which I tread as a pilgrim, I look to you for help. I ask for this favor: For your blessing upon St. Joseph of Cupertino Academy, its students, teachers, families and supporters.

When my hour of death has come, lead me safely to the presence of Jesus to enjoy the vision of my God for all eternity together with you.

The SJCA teachers had a great orientation yesterday and are ready to get the school year off to a great start.

Exciting News! SJCA has hired four teachers to teach grades 1-8! You can meet the teachers at the Open House on Monday, July 22nd @ 7pm at Assumption Parish in Fr. Bernard Hall. It will be a great opportunity to get more information about our school and ask questions. If you know anyone who might be interested in our school, please give them the information about the Open House or have them send us a message at [email protected].
