The music was started in the Afro Caribbean and made its way to Brazil. Lambada music was beginning to die out, so the Lambada dancers began forming what we now know as Brazilian Zouk. It has since grown and spread and there are a few different styles around today. This dance is quickly growing in the United states, so come join us and be a part of the revolution!

-We typically do lunch nearby and catch up after class. Feel free to join us!-

Progressive Brazilian Zouk Series
Open-Level Class- Beginners Welcome! We will have dancers there to assist newbies.
•No partner required.
• Drop-ins welcome!
• No experience necessary.

📍Where: Global Education Center 🌎 4822 Charlotte Ave. (The dance studio is around BACK, on the Hugh Baby’s side).

🅿️ Parking: There is plenty of FREE parking along 49th Ave and in Richland Park across the street. Please refrain from parking in the spots directly behind Global, which are reserved for Global staff, and please avoid parking in the alleyway. Thank you. 🙂

💰 Cost: Register by 8/9 (at the door) for the Early Bird Discount
•Early Bird Rate: $60 for the 4-week series ($20 discount, compared to $20 drop-in rate)
•Drop-In Rate: $20/ class to cover studio space.

We had such a great time diving into body waves, isolations, and movement quality during the intensive, and putting it all into practice at the social✨

📍Social location: Nashville Salsa Dancing: 630 Rundle Ave. Studio B (There will be an NSD Salsa & Bachata social in the main room. Dancers are welcome to go back and forth between the rooms).

Intensive:
▪️4:30pm-6:30pm: Brazilian Zouk Workshop with Joe Walker. Topics: Isolation Mechanics & Functional Connection. All levels welcome.
Social:
