Great day with the Lipscomb Lifelong Learning program’s Civil War field trip to Stones River Battleground in Murfreesboro. Thanks to Dr. Tim Johnson, history professor at Lipscomb University, for the engaging account and key figures of the three-day battle that took place Dec. 31, 1862 to Jan. 2, 1863.

Join the Lifelong Learning program on Friday, Sept. 13 at Longview Mansion for “Nashville: Its Civic Design, Public Realm and Architecture: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.” The event will be led by Kem Hinton, architect,urban designer, LEED accredited professional, historian and visual artist.
