This is a post from 2017 and thought it would be fun to reminisce about the good ole days. I updated a couple of answers but let’s see yours!
Tell us about your SENIOR year of high school! The longer ago it was, the more fun the answers will be!
The year: 1989
1. Did you know your spouse then?
No
2. Did you carpool to school? No, but I drove Joey Davenport a lot.
3. What kind of car did you drive? White Toyota Corolla SR5
4. It's FRIDAY night football, were you there? Of course!! Home and away games on the football field with my team! Go Warriors!
5. What kind of job did you have? HH Gregg appliance store
6. Were you a party animal? No, always the DD along with Sonnie Smith
7. Were you considered a jock? I suppose, softball, football manager, mat girl
8. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir? No but did have Ms Kim Wonders for music
9. Were you a nerd? No, but got mostly A's, except Ms Messick honors Biology class!
10. Did you get suspended or expelled? No, but skipped school once with Pam Spicer, Catherine Pender Buerger , Leandra Seiberling Charron and a few other to go to Taco Bell and Ms Williams made me copy a page out of dictionary even though I talked my mother into writing me an excused note.
11. Can you sing the fight/ school song? Two bits seniors! Lol
12. Where did you eat? Mr Gattis after football games and Taco Bell a lot.
13. What/who was your school mascot? Warriors, Chris Denton
14. If you could go back and do it again would you? Definitely YES! I miss my friends.
15. Are you planning on going to your next high school reunion? If course which will be next year assuming Sedrik Newbern plans one!:)
16. Who would you like to see at your next reunion? Everyone!!
17. Are you still in contact with people from high school? A handful yes and love keeping up with many of you via Facebook
18. Do you know where your high school sweetheart is today? Yes 😢 he is an 😇 Rob Jarrett . RIP
19. What was your favorite subject? Math
20. Favorite teacher? Richard Roach, Chuck Lewis , Jerry Pigue , Bubba Spears , Ms Zucarello, coach Varallo, Fred Sadler , have I missed any? We had some pretty amazing teachers and coaches.
21. Do you still have your High School Ring? Yes
22. Do you still have your yearbook? Yes
23. Most memorable event? Coming to HLHS and meeting some of my best friends! Football games and cruising the mall, the plaza and Cantrell's market were great times…except the time I got a loitering ticket from officer Jackson!!
24. Remembering lost classmates...because sometimes memories are all we have left. 😢

26. Who were your best friends? Lea Ann Baxter, Christie Woodard Batson, Sonnie Duke smith, Christy Gifford Mason, Penny Cowart Thurman, Pam Spicer, Leandra Seiberling Charron, Catherine Pender Buerger and so many others.
27. Friends you have known the longest on fb? Stacey Madison, April Woodson, Angela Dunn-Doss, Melody Barnes, Leslie Anne Garrett-Stephens and lots more. I love fb for this reason.
