Hey guys! I’m officially out of surgery!!! I was confirmed earlier this morning during my checkup that it was successful!!! They changed my procedure from gas bubble treatment only to placing a “buckle” around my retina and air bubble treatment. Yeah I know, imagine hearing that minutes before it’s go time. I was completely awake the entire hour and thirty minutes which was also unexpected but knowing that God’s presence was in that room was enough for me. The road to recovery is two weeks before I can go back to work and six weeks before my vision is fully back so keep me in your thoughts as we head down this journey. ⁣
⁣
Also, going through this experience not once but twice truly has taught me a lot about myself and the world around me. It’s extremely hard for me to be vulnerable and open up so I’m thankful for all of you who prayed and messaged me nice things. Sometimes that little push is all that someone needs in big moments like these, thank you! 🖤🙏🏽⁣
