As we reframe and reclaim professionalism, we’re looking beyond the habits we’ve inherited about what leadership and “good work” are supposed to look like. Healing is the first of the four pillars of our Ecological Impact Model. It builds identity, strengthens agency, and makes collective power possible. ✨

Organizations like Homeland Heart Birth & Wellness Collective show us what that can look like in practice: care that is rooted in culture, responsive to community, and designed to nourish the people it serves. Tap in with Homeland Heart Birth & Wellness Collective and watch episode 1 of Reframing and Reclaiming Professionalism on YouTube today. 📺

There is a lot happening in and around Nashville, and we want to help keep our community connected to the spaces, resources, and opportunities that matter.

This next Community Roundup includes events to learn, gather, move, support local work, and build new relationships, along with fellowship, volunteer, and internship opportunities.

At The Village Nashville, we believe community care includes sharing what is available and making sure good work is easier to find.

Take a look through this post, save it for later, and share it with someone who may be looking for their next opportunity.

A tree is more than a tree. It can make a neighborhood safer, healthier, and more connected.

In our conversation with Jason Sprouls, Urban Waters Division Manager at the Cumberland River Compact, we talked about the real benefits trees bring to our communities. From helping reduce accidents to lowering neighborhood temperatures and improving air quality, tree canopy is an important part of building places where people can thrive.

Thank you, Jason, for helping us see the impact of this work in a new way. We covered so much more in this conversation, including topics that deserve more time and attention.
