Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers The association provides education, training and support to the lawyers representing citizens accused of crime.

AI-Powered Body-Cam Review for Criminal Defense Attorneys

The average criminal case includes hours of body cam footage, interrogation videos, jail calls, and extensive written and image evidence. While digital discovery can be a powerful tool, it is not humanly possible to sift through all this data—JusticeText is changing that. In this webinar, former Public Defender Yasmin Herdoiza will share how thousands of defense attorneys are using AI to transcribe video evidence, highlight critical moments, build timelines, surface inconsistencies, and uncover critical facts instantly, helping level the playing field for their clients. TACDL members receive an exclusive discount to JusticeText, so join the webinar to learn more and find out how to upload your first three videos completely free.

Volunteer Drinker Needed Thursday, June 4th

Hello TACDL Members!

We still need 1 volunteer drinker for Thursday, June 4th during the NHTSA course. You would need to arrive at 11:30 am and the end time would be around 4:30 pm. TACDL will cover the cost of an Uber/Lyft to and from the TACDL office and will also provide the liquor and mixer.

Even if you don't want to take the seminar, participating as a volunteer drinker can be incredibly informative because you get to experience the tests exactly like how officers are trained to administer them. It will also help you identify improper instructions and other deviations that might affect your client.

Please email [email protected] if you are interested in being a volunteer.
