This past Friday, the MAC team proudly celebrated the retirement of Mr. Marvin Cox, our Director of Community Outreach, whose humor, heart, and infectious energy have brightened MAC and the Nashville community for 22 exceptional years! 🎉

And because no celebration for Mr. Cox would be complete without a little surprise, we loved seeing the shock on his face when he walked in! 😂

Mr. Cox had a gift for making everyone feel like family. Whether helping customers, supporting colleagues, serving families, or sharing his unforgettable humor, he brought warmth and joy wherever he went. His commitment to our community included helping provide nutritious meals through our Summer Food Service Program and connecting families with air conditioners when they needed them most.

Help us congratulate Mr. Marvin Cox on 22 incredible years of service! While he will certainly be missed, his laughter, compassion, relationships, and lasting impact will live on. Thank you, Mr. Cox, for being a true friend to MAC and the Nashville community! 💜

This month, the MAC team proudly honored the retirement of Ms. Hurlene Clark, a Parent, Family, Community and Engagement Advocate whose light has illuminated our agency, our families, and our community for 33 remarkable years!🎉👏

Her legacy is woven into every department, outreach event, and moment of teamwork she touched.

From her early days at Reservoir Head Start, through Richland and Tom Joy, and finally North Head Start, Ms. Clark’s dedication and compassion have left an enduring impact.
