University School of Nashville (USN/PDS) - Tiger Athletics

You’ve got SIX chances to see the USN HS Boys Basketball teams in action Thursday and Friday at Lipscomb University. Come on out and cheer on the Tigers as they get ready for a big season!

Each year, USN coaches vote upon the Tiger of the Year Award- an award that recognizes senior for their contributions to the USN athletic program throughout their high school careers. This year’s winners were Maeve Stevenson, heading to Emory to play Volleyball, and Braylin Davis, attending MTSU to play Basketball. Congrats to these two & go tigers!

The school year may be over- but summer basketball is in full swing for the Tigers! There are plenty of opportunities for you to come out and cheer on the 2026-27 USN Boys teams this month– don’t miss out!

Braylin Davis ‘26 has officially committed to play Division I Men’s Basketball at Middle Tennessee State University ‼️ We are SO excited to cheer him on as a Blue Raider. Let’s go, Braylin!

Jack Barocas has been named to the 2026 TSSAA DII-A Boys Lacrosse All State Team! Let’s gooooooo!

More highlights from last week’s State Track & Field Meet:
- Caleb Freifeld placed 6th in the 3200m (9:56.29)
- Braylin Davis placed 2nd in High Jump (6’2”)
- Binyam Dunne placed 5th in Long Jump (19-11) & 3rd in the 400m (50.344)
- Pera McMillian placed 5th in Triple Jump (42-1, PR)
And of course…Griffin Davidson, Drew Zwerner, Caleb Freifeld, and Jack Fruin placed FIRST in the 4x800m Relay (8:13.09), and Jack placed FIRST in the 800m (1:56.99)!
