What a joy it is to see how deeply our teachers know and care for each student. Hearing each child recognized for their individual growth, progress, and accomplishments was such a meaningful way to close out the school year! ✨ Their smiles say it all 😊⭐️

On May 21st, Roberts Academy at Vanderbilt University celebrated a milestone we will never forget — our very first graduating class! 🎓

As our Director, Dr. Jared Clodfelter, shared, these students have spent the last two years growing not only in reading, writing, spelling, and math, but also in confidence, perseverance, self-advocacy, and belief in themselves. “I’ve watched you support one another – often serving as each other’s listening ear, advocate, and maybe even a time or two, partner in crime. And most noticeably, I have watched your teachers pour into you with all of their heart each and every day.”

We are proud of this special group of students and grateful to every teacher, family member, and community partner who helped make this moment possible. The future is bright for these graduates, and this is only the beginning. 💛🖤✨🎓

Congratulations to our wonderful graduate assistant, Ms. Reni Madden! 🎓✨ This weekend, she graduated from Vanderbilt University with her Master’s in Student & Child Studies through Vanderbilt Peabody College .

She has already made such a lasting impact on our students and school community through her compassion, dedication, and enthusiasm, and we are beyond excited that she will be joining us full-time next year as our Auxiliary Program Director!!!! We are so grateful for all she brings to Roberts Academy at Vanderbilt University and cannot wait to watch her continue to grow in this role! 🖤💛⭐️🫶🏻👩‍🎓
