Today I was asked to answer three very important questions about my life's work... It took me almost two hours.
I can only hope that it's all true.

1.) What makes me a great vocal coach?
Being recklessly refined. I am a singer and student of the voice, turned observer and teacher. I believe technique gives us an edge to unleash the vocal prowess that lies within every singer. I count it my job to make singing easy for my students, by helping them release their tension and sing freely. With freedom comes higher notes, increased range, more power and enhanced confidence. I am fortunate enough to have had a hand in helping cultivate some of the music industry's top and rising stars and I bring that same experience and passion into every lesson, with every student.
2.) What do I like to help students with the most?
I love to help students understand their own voice. Once a singer understands how their voice works they become more equipped to master it. Stylistically, I love helping remove the "clutter" and guiding students into finding their own unique style. I love singers of all styles and skill levels, but I am most passionate coaching the singer and artist who are looking to hone their craft.
3.) How do I do that?
I am able to effectively communicate the fundamentals of singing, while gently disarming the strongholds that are holding the singer back.
