Class size is kept small with a maximum of sixteen students.

Nashville Acting Studio classes provide a space for actors to grow in their ability to tell these stories, through script analysis, emotional preparation and character work. The classes use material from film and television in an intensive scene study format. The studio is not set up like a “course,” or a workshop; it is a process and a true scene study. Every class is a mixture of first and secon

d works of scenes. You are assigned a scene and a scene partner and are expected to do your script analysis and rehearse and bring the scene in off book. That first work is followed by detailed notes from Caroline. The next week you will bring the scene back in and we will work it as though you are on a set with a director starting and stopping you until it is in the shape it needs to be. All scenes come from film and television. Actors work on a variety of things: emotional life, power, comedy, character, camera appropriateness, nuance and script analysis. No one under 18 years of age is admitted into the studio, though we will be happy to work privately with those under 18. AUDITING A CLASS
