Class of 72 we need your help...... Our Alumni group is quickly becoming a reality, Charter & Bi-Laws are complete, Not-for-Profit status paperwork has been filed and a bank account has been opened. We now need to gather contact information from everyone that wants to be a part of this association. Class of 72, I am very saddened to let everyone know that fellow classmate, Bill Hardin, died last night from brain cancer. Please pray for the family. R.I.P. Old Friend!

Service information for Bill is as follows:
All services will be held at Judson Baptist Church, 4900 Franklin Road, Nashville, TN 37220.
Visitation:
Wednesday, July 26th from 4:00pm-8:00pm and Thursday, July 27th from 9:00am-10:00am
Funeral Service:
Thursday, July 27th at 10:00am at Judson with burial following at 11:15 at Woodlawn cemetery.

Bobcat Alumni, The Overton Bobcat Booster Club is hosting the 3rd annual Overton Athletic Booster Club Golf Tourney on Saturday June 25th @ Ted Rhodes Golf Course at Metro Center @ 8 AM – Shotgun Start.

Please grab a foursome and spread the word to your friends so we can pack the course and provide financial assistance back to John Overton High School. Last year we were able to provide $1,000 Scholarship to five deserving athletes’ and several financial needs for the Overton Football Team. If you can't make it, please consider a small donation or your company could sponsor a hole. Every dollar helps in this matter. To participate or donate see details below.

Fellow Classmates, if you live in District 2 of Davidson County TN please DO NOT re-elect Jo Ann Brannon for the Metro School Board, PLEASE vote for Bernie Driscoll. Jo Ann Brannon is the school board member that did nothing & turned her head the other way on the secret renaming of Overton High Schools football field to the band director from legendary Overton High School Coach Nick Coutras Field without anyone’s knowledge (see the post below)! She also does not play by the election rules that she helped create either – watch this from Channel 5 News:
