JE students celebrating their Crowned Within Graduation Ceremony on March 31st, where they presented their Crown Blueprint Posters and reflected on what they’ve learned.
Over the past 6 weeks Keymaya Butler had the opportunity to pilot her program IntuVerse Academy with 7th grade students here in Nashville at John Early Middle School.
During the program she worked with the students on things like:
• understanding their emotions
• pausing before reacting
• building confidence
• developing goals and leadership
The students move through a process she taught called IGNITE • HEAL • BUILD, and the outcome of that journey is something called Crowned Within.
Crowned Within represents the moment a student realizes their power and leadership comes from within themselves.
