: Meet Dr. LaToya Anderson, literacy coach at John Early Museum Magnet Middle School. Anderson's previous work with the John Early community through the Vanderbilt Model School Partnership paved the way for a transition to a full-time position at the school.

"I was already working with John Early and excited about the work happening here," she said, describing the care she saw from the school's staff for its students.

Remember during this tax-free weekend, that for the 6th consecutive year, we are providing all school supplies for all scholars. We also do not require school uniforms. All you need is a backpack (and maybe a new pair of Js 😏).

We will see you for Open House on Thursday, August 6 between 4-6 PM. First day of school is Tuesday, August 11!

All That Jazz: A Student Exhibit with Live Music! Was very successful, thank you to Nashville Jazz Workshop and all our visitors for comimg out to our museum exhibit!!! Job well done to our scholars for all their hard work!!!
