Joy isn’t something we just talk about. It’s something we practice.

On the evening of Day 2, we gave our site visit attendees a taste of Nashville at Pins Mechanical Co. Great food from Jasper's , lots of laughter, and a night to just enjoy being together.

At Nashville Teacher Residency, three priorities guide everything we do: Well Prepared, Fully Licensed, and Well Cared For. On day two of our recent site visit, we had the chance to bring those priorities to life. Attendees got an up-close look at how we support our Residents, from coaching and licensure support to the ways we care for them as people. It was an incredible day to share not just what we believe, but how it shows up in our practice.

Last month, we had the privilege of hosting 25 programs from the National Center for Teacher Residencies network here in Nashville. We spent the week sharing what we’ve learned over the past ten years and where we’re headed next.

This video captures Day 1, where we grounded our time together in the story of our city and the context that shapes our work.

At NTR, we work to ensure every Resident is well prepared, fully licensed, and well cared for. Your support makes that possible. For many future teachers, the barrier is not talent. It’s cost. Tests. Tutoring. Mental health support. Your gift helps remove those barriers and keeps great teachers on the path to the classroom.

Thank you for believing in our Residents and supporting their path to the classroom.
