We know many in our community are struggling right now without power, heat and/or hot water.

MNPS community, to support families and staff impacted by the winter storm, we will distribute free hot meals and winter clothing from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 31 at:
- Tusculum Elementary School – 440 McMurray Drive
- Shwab Elementary School – 1500 Dickerson Pike
- Pearl-Cohn High School – 904 26th Avenue North

While supplies last.

This event, in collaboration with Mercy Chefs and World Central Kitchen, is open to the community and is intended to assist families experiencing hardship due to power outages and other impacts from the storm.

Families, with rising Kindergarten students, Metro Schools is providing your student's school supplies this year. 🖍

Through a partnership with PENCIL, students will receive their Kinderbox full of essential supplies on the first day of school, August 5.

Kindergarten Registration for 2025-26 school year opens TODAY.

Even if your child is currently attending a MNPS Pre-K, you must complete Kindergarten Registration.
