Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it is a time of reflection, gratitude, and remembrance for those who gave their lives defending the freedoms we enjoy every day.

We salute our fallen heroes and keep their families in our prayers today and always. May we never forget their courage, sacrifice, and legacy.

The Association of Tennessee Alphamen is proud to present the 2026 ATA Youth Leadership Summit at Middle Tennessee State University on June 23–26, 2026!

This year’s theme:
“Level Up: Leading Beyond Limits”

We are looking for young men from across Tennessee who are ready to grow, lead, and make an impact in their schools and communities.

This summit is designed to help young men:

✅ Connect with positive mentors and peers

This year marks the 58th anniversary of the “Drum Major for Justice”—a man who dedicated his life to service, equality, and uplifting humanity. His message still echoes today, and his work continues through all of us.

As we get closer to the 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐤, the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc-Tau Lambda Chapter is pushing forward but we need your help to finish strong.

Today, our Chapter President, Brother Walter Smart, and Vice President, Brother Glen Townsend, had the opportunity to attend the 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐨𝐧. Hearing the powerful, personal stories of families impacted by premature birth was both eye-opening and motivating.

This cause is real. The impact is real. And the need is real.

Our chapter has set an 𝐚𝐠𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 $𝟐𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎, and we’re committed to reaching it—but we can’t do it alone.

Here’s the ask:
