Just got back from the a week away… and I’m already wanting to book another getaway 😂 But because we have a surgery looming and volleyball season coming, let me live through you! Where are you headed this summer?

Being their mom is my favorite. So proud of who they are both turning out to be - girls who love Jesus, love others, and always work hard for what they want.

Thankful for the hope that we have because the tomb was found empty ❤️ And beyond thankful that He saw fit to bless me with such an amazing family.

Posted about this book in my stories but wanted to give it a more permanent spot in my feed. So, so good! It’s all about getting out of your comfort zone and finding complexity - the area of maximum growth. 👏🏼 It is not specifically about education. It’s all things business, leadership, teaching, etc.

Lived our best Nashville lives last night at the concert - best show I’ve ever seen! Loved this experience with my girls, my sister, and my sweet nieces.

Hope yours was awesome, too! We have a PD day tomorrow, so the girls get to sleep off their sugar coma. I think a student free day after Halloween is genius and also a totally groovy too! 😂🙌🏼

Teaching Tip: Implement retrieval practices! 🧠

As an instructional coach {and someone who thought this so many times last year in my own classroom}, I have been hearing statements like:
•They get it, but then they forget it.
•They passed the CFA, but they forget it by state testing time.
•I know they’ve learned this skill, but they struggle to show it on assessments.
