I scream, you scream, we all scream for Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams! Join us tomorrow, September 1st from 4pm-7pm to enjoy your favorite scoops while also supporting Sylvan Park Elementary. 25% of all purchases during the event will be donated back to our school.

The 2026-2027 INVEST Campaign is coming soon! 👀 This year we have a big goal of raising $200k in 2 weeks! & together we can do it.

What is INVEST?
This is our school’s biggest annual fundraiser where we raise money for critical resources that benefit the entire Panther community. Through INVEST the PTO works closely with our principal and staff to determine our greatest needs. This year we have the ambitious goal of $200k to fund three important staff positions. By contributing to INVEST you help make this possible for our students, our staff, and our entire SPE community.

INVEST will run September 23-October 8. More info coming soon! 🩵

Curious to learn more about what's happening in the classroom this year? Don't miss the Back to School Open House on Thursday, August 27th from 4:30-6pm! ✏️ PLEASE NOTE THE TIME CHANGE!

Open house is an opportunity to learn more details about the year ahead from your child(ren)'s homeroom teacher, and, if your 3rd-5th grade student is in a departmentalized setting, to learn more specifics from subject specific teachers: ELA, Math, SS/Sci/PLT.

Please note that the Open House is intended for parents/guardians. Adults only, please!

🎉🎉🎉 Not only did we fulfill the wishlist for our non-homeroom teachers & office, but we had EXTRA to donate to other classrooms! We can’t thank our INCREDIBLE and GENEROUS community enough. You are what makes SPE such a wonderful place!

Doors will open at 7:55am
Class will start (promptly!) at 8:10
Dismissal is at 3:10pm.
