Challenging Academics. Inclusive Christian Community. Co-Educational. Pre-K-Grade 12. At FRA, we know what matters most.

While academic success and college placement are important to our school community, our students are not a grade point average or a standardized test score; they are young men and women who are well prepared to succeed at the finest colleges and universities, have a strong sense of purpose, and are eager to make a difference in the world around them.

Exceptional educators leave a lasting impact, and this year’s faculty award recipients are a testament to that.

Lower school educator Allison Kaufman, a member of the FRA faculty for 26 years, has been named the 2026 recipient of the William L. Campbell Award for Excellence in Teaching, the school’s highest teaching honor.

We also celebrate upper school history teacher Tom Gilroy, recipient of the William B. and Gretchen Akin Award, along with Amy Beth Jones, Arthur D’Angelo, and Clifton Kaiser, who were recognized with their divisions’ Service Above Self Awards.

Join us in honoring these outstanding faculty members and the difference they make in the lives of our students each day.

AP 3-D art students stepped into the world of glassblowing at Nashville Glasshaüs this past semester, learning firsthand how heat, color, and creativity come together to shape one-of-a-kind works of art.

Founded and owned by FRA alumnus Wyatt Maxwell, Nashville Glasshaüs is the city’s first glassblowing studio.

Thanks to a Velocity Grant supported by the FRA Fund, students explored a new artistic medium, crafted their own sculptural glass pieces, and collaborated on additional works that will be donated back to FRA.

Visit the link below to read more about the experience and hear how hands-on learning continues to expand opportunities for our students.

Before summer officially began, we loved welcoming some of our newest Panthers to campus for New Student Socials! 😎

It was a great opportunity for students and families to meet new friends, connect with faculty, and start building community before the new school year begins. We can’t wait to welcome these students to the FRAmily this fall!

Before the school year wrapped up, we had the opportunity to celebrate the parents who helped make this year so meaningful.

Whether serving at events, supporting classrooms, cheering on students, or stepping in wherever needed, our parent volunteers played such an important role in the life of our FRAmily this year.

Thank you for your time, generosity, and support of Franklin Road Academy. We are so grateful for each of you! 💙

The Class of 2026 has officially crossed the stage. 🎓

On Saturday, Franklin Road Academy celebrated 95 graduates as they received their diplomas surrounded by family, friends, faculty, and the FRAmily community. The class will continue their journeys at nearly 50 colleges and universities across 20 states and four countries.

Though commencement moved indoors due to weather, the celebration of the Class of 2026 was just as meaningful.

Congratulations, graduates! We can’t wait to see where life takes you next.
