Most of us have experienced this. The guy who keeps his eyes on you. The guy who when he stares at you makes your stomach turn. Don’t wait for something to happen. Don’t wait for them to engage you in conversation or to approach you. It’s actions like this that can lead to danger, especially when your intuition@signals you.

The 5th Annual is in motion. Teaching the younger generation safety strategies, healthy relationships and what is and what is NOT consent.

I speak the truth and tell the real stories of victims so others can be educated with important life and decision making skills.

We will hit 7 different states over the next months including our first all male event with grades 9-12.

The turn in your stomach, the hair on your neck, making jokes about danger. The most important thing to remember is that intuition does not need a definition. It is a feeling.

Often times one woman is brave enough to comment with, “teach men.” Recently I had a conversation with .armor She told me a classic story. While in high school the girls all had to take self defense. The boys..they got zero education. This really hit home with me. Nobody made it a point to teach the young men about consent, handling a break up, rejection, how to handle frustrations and stand up to peer pressure. Such an excellent example of our society.
With that, I am launching a program to educate men. It began this spring and this conversation inspired me to do more of it. We shall see if it’s an upward climb and I expect that is. Awareness and accountability can make a difference.
