Back to School Community Resource Fair tomorrow at the Northwest YMCA.

ATTENTION rising Juniors and Seniors:
Most of you spent 3 or 4 summers during middle school at the Bridge going on great field trips, building relationships with college student teachers and writing warm fuzzies. Now you are headed into your final years of high school and it is time for you to focus on your own future! Whether you knew it or not, The Bridge Program always had a vision for you to graduate from high school and attend college. We have always wanted you to embrace the idea of going to college. We have always believed that you could do it; therefore, we are providing an opportunity for you to get started before the whirlwind of school begins…Cultivating Collegians!

Cultivating Collegians will be a productive, work-based and outcome-based week – enabling students to write personal statements, research colleges and scholarships, fill out at least three college applications, discuss Federal Application for Student Aid (FAFSA), as well as to create a resume. It will be a very focused three days that will put anyone who participates way ahead of the college admission game, making it easier to meet deadlines senior year, and, ultimately, paving the way for you to enter college once you graduate.
