From concept to character

Inspired by The Walking Dead, Sierra Uhlig brought her own zombie character to life, imagining a man who spent his final days searching for his wife before becoming a decomposing shell of the person he once was.

“Years after their separation, his wife wandering through the woods looking for refuge, stumbled upon what she thought was just a regular zombie until she caught a glimpse of a not too forgotten face.”

Years later, she found her husband.

Just not the man she remembered.

At AMUA, students learn to take an idea beyond the makeup chair and bring an entire character, and their story, to life.
