April is Autism Acceptance Month, and as parents of a child with autism—who also happens to celebrate his birthday this month—awareness, acceptance, and inclusion are deeply personal to us. 💙 This month, we’re celebrating all of our amazing kiddos and everything that makes them unique.

Because we need more future adults who “get it.” But that’s not the norm. Somehow people with little experience in nature end up in charge of environmental policy. The wrong things get focused on when this happens and people *think* they’re protecting something that they’re actually destroying… They’re destroying our DEEP connection WITH nature and treating it like a separate thing.
