ECCHO Live The inaugural TCW was held in November 2011 at Belmont University, and was attended by over fifty industry professionals.

ECCHO Live (formerly Touring Career Workshop) is a support organization for the whole human in live events, providing mental health and well being support, connection, and development opportunities so people can sustain both their careers and their lives. The Touring Career Workshop is a free event created by Chris Lisle and Erik Parker designed to serve and educate their colleagues in the touring

music industry. As trends in the music industry show a steep decline in recorded music sales over the past decade, the necessity for Artist to tour/perform live to gain income is at an all time high. Even in a down economy, people need to be entertained. Although ticket sales aren’t as great in some markets as they used to be, and though many touring productions have tightened their budgets, the touring world is still very much alive and kicking. The bottom line of it is, that unless you work for one of the major vendors and are blessed to have a great benefits package, you must fend for yourself to provide the tools needed to get by in life: health insurance, retirement plans, and the general skills to run your own business. Make no mistake about it, if you are a freelance technician in the touring business – you ARE your own business. This is where the vision of the Touring Career Workshop comes to life: a simple workshop where a lot of the success tools needed are presented by experts in each of their respective fields. There is NO admission fee to the TCW, and there is NO pressure to purchase any of the services that are presented during the workshop. Attendees will listen to brief overviews on a variety of topics, and at the end will have the opportunity to set up meetings with the vendors if desired. Chris Lisle and Erik Parker receive no commission or fees in any way from any of the vendors. We are organizing this to give back to our industry, with the hope that several people can walk away from the workshop motivated with the tools needed to have the best career that they can!

Who helped you find your footing when you were brand new? Who taught you the thing you still do the same way today? Who gave you a shot, showed you the ropes, talked you through a rough day, or simply made a long run a whole lot better?

This year at the ECCHO Live Fall Workshop: EVOLVE, we want to put YOUR CREW on the big screen. The people you came up with, learned from, taught, laughed with, leaned on, and logged a ridiculous number of hours alongside.

Dig through your camera roll and send us the photos that mean something to you. Old school, new school, people you still work beside, or someone you’d love the chance to put up on that screen and say: this person mattered to me along the way.

Every time ECCHO Live’s name and mission are shared, it helps us reach another corner of this industry.

People find us in all kinds of ways. Sometimes they come to an event and stay for the community and connection. Sometimes they find us through partners who help us provide education and resources. Sometimes they’re working a show or festival and discover All Access Onsite right there on the road. And sometimes, it’s simply someone who cares about the people in this industry sharing what we do because they understand the unique challenges that come with this work.

However someone finds us, it starts with knowing we’re here.

All Access Onsite will return for a third year during the 2026 CMA Country Music Association Awards rehearsals and show day, bringing confidential, in-person mental health care directly to the artists and crew behind one of Country Music’s biggest nights.

We’re proud to continue this work alongside the Country Music Association and to see care for the people behind live events remain part of the conversation as the CMA Awards celebrate 60 years.
