What a fun way to kick off the football season with a community tailgate on Friday. St. Cecilia students, families, and friends gathered near the creek for food, drinks, and fellowship. Thank you to the Parent Association for planning such a wonderful event!

Yesterday, we welcomed our first Visit Day guests - St. Joseph and St. Rose of Lima! We hope they enjoyed their time in the classroom and learning about life at St. Cecilia. We look forward to seeing them back on campus soon!

During the Activities Fair, students learned about the more than 30 clubs offered at St. Cecilia. Because these meet during the school day, every student has an opportunity to discover, lead, and form friendships across grade levels through the club experience. It is one of the student life foundations for encouraging St. Cecilia girls to explore their gifts, lead with confidence, and grow in mind, body, and faith.

A fabulous cast of Scarabs have begun the work of serving as Class Agents and gathered last week to kick off the new school year. Over dinner, they heard updates and plans for the year and had the opportunity to connect with fellow Class Agents, share ideas, and talk about ways to keep their classmates engaged and connected. We are grateful to the many alumnae who have renewed their commitment to serve, as well as those who are stepping into the role of Class Agent for the first time. We are excited for all that this year holds!

Our junior high had a fun-filled Friday during Advisory! Students enjoyed playing games, spending time with classmates, and building community together.

St. Cecilia’s Advisory Program is an integral part of school life, creating meaningful connections throughout the SCA community. Advisory groups meet several times each week to enjoy one another’s company while discussing academics, personal goals, faith, and more. What a great way to kick off the weekend!

The community came together in Nashville on Saturday, August 8, as the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia welcomed the Hillbilly Thomists to The Dominican Campus for a special celebration of the feast of St. Dominic.
