Neely's Bend K-8

Looking for something to do this summer or a way to sharpen your skills? Come to the Neely’s Bend K-8 Summer Sports Clinic!! This is open to all students 4th - 8th grade. Pop in for the dates you are available, or come to them all. You must have a completed sports physical on file to participate. Email Jessica Murry at [email protected] to learn more. All clinic days will be held at the school @ 1300 Neely’s Bend Road.

Date Options:
June: 8th, 10th, 15th, and June 17th (5:00 - 6:30 PM)

July: 6th, 8th, 10th, 20th, 22th, 24th, 27th, 31st (4:00 - 6:00 PM)

August: 3rd, 5th (4:00 - 6:00)

What an end to the year with our inaugural 8th grade class as they presented their International Baccalaureate Community Projects and as we celebrated their crossover to high school. We could not be prouder of these young men and women. Watching them grow during their time here has been a joy. We have students who started here in kindergarten and are leaving fully equipped for high school. At Neely’s Bend World Cultures and International Arts K-8 we prepare students to be thinkers and global citizens. -8schools

End of the year field trips, science experiments, 8th grade week, class books being published, presentations, projects, and more! At The Bend we fit so much learning and joy into the end of the year!! One more week to go! We are finishing strong!

Our third graders participated in a yearlong, city-wide Peace Partner Project where they partnered with two other schools to be pen pals, learn songs, paint pavers, and promote peace with kids from different walks of life. Check out more from the News Channel 5 story here:

Yesterday, We hosted our inaugural Athletics Banquet. Our student athletes and their loved ones came dressed to the 9s, enjoyed a delicious meal, and celebrated the successes of our first full fledged year. Thank you to all of our coaches and families who poured into our students this year.

We could not be prouder of our 5th grade scholars who presented their International Baccalaureate Exhibitions yesterday! With the help of the fabulous 5th grade team and PYP IB Coordinator, Anna Harris, our students researched, wrote, revised, created, and presented their learnings on conflict, data, and perspective.
