We introduce pescetarian, vegetarian, & vegan meals to our children. We are striving to be eco-friendly and to teach our children the importance!! Our History
Gartland Child Development Center’s facility was founded in 1947 when the need for quality child care was a growing and a constant need, so it has been in the heart of East Nashville for over 65 years. Some staff may have changed over the years but some are the same. Most of the parent’s who live in East Nashville today or once lived in East Nashville was one of the children that came and grew up at this day care over the years and now have children of their own who attend Gartland CDC.

We are looking to add two dedicated team members to our growing GCDC family:

- Cook

Requirements:
• Experience preparing meals in a childcare or school setting
• Ability to maneuver between multiple floor levels throughout the day
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Able to pass a federal background check

- Driver

Requirements:
• Driver must be able to work a split shift
• Driver must hold a valid F-Endorsement
• Everyone in childcare must be at least 18 years old, have High School Diploma or equivalent and able to pass a federal background check
