Sound Start Early Childhood Music offers weekly music classes for children ages birth to five years old to enjoy with a parent or caregiver. We feature highly trained (and fun) instructors, award-winning curriculum (created by The Music Class) and high quality instruments and props. Nashville families can find classes in Brentwood (Forest Hills United Methodist Church), Nashville (Ellington Agricu

ltural Center), Bellevue (Gordon JCC), Smyrna (Gregory Mill Park), and Online (Zoom)! We have provided classes for Nashville families since opening in 2004. Call 615-777-9314 or email office@soundstartnashville to schedule your free observation class! Brief history for confused customers:
Our program has been managed by Rachel Hoffman since it opened in November of 2004. Ownership has changed, however. From 2004-2011, we were called "The Music Playhouse". From 2011-2017, we were called "The Music Class". (The Music Class still provides award-winning curriculum but they no longer operate centers outside of Atlanta, GA.) On June 1, 2017, Rachel Hoffman became the owner of the program and the name changed to "Sound Start Early Childhood Music." We are thrilled that our program is now locally owned and operated!

🎶We’re having a blast singing all of our students’ favorite songs for our last week of summer classes! Don’t forget to enroll in a fall class before they’re all full. Fall classes begin the week of August 10-15 and will feature songs and activities from TMC’s Giraffe Collection! 🎶
