Black history month is here & Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. has made tremendous strides and set amazing history here on Vanderbilt's campus. Bro. Bishop Joseph Johnson, a member of the Beta Beta Chapter of KAΨ, was the FIRST African-American student to earn a Vanderbilt degree (the black cultural center is named after Bro. Johnson). Bro. Godfrey Dillard, a member of the Alpha Delta chapter of KAΨ, was the FIRST D9 member on Vanderbilt's Campus and the FIRST black student athlete on Vandy's campus and FIRST black player in the SEC (along with Perry Wallace). KAΨ is the true FIRST of many on Vanderbilt's campus. YO to the NuPes. Epitome of Achievement in EVERY field! 😊👌🏽♦️🔥
