I am working for summer to add value to as many families in New Mexico as I can bu providing tools for their kids education. Established in 1855, the mission of Southwestern Advantage has remained the same: We build people by providing them with an opportunity for a personal, professional, and educational Advantage. Each summer, the educational goals of over 200,000 families are positively impacte
d by our collegiate representatives providing them products tailored specifically to them. We take pride in our business style of meeting with families face-to-face at their homes to discuss one of the highest priorities a parent has: their children's education. Roughly 2,600 college students grow each year through participating in the Southwestern Advantage Sales & Leadership Program. We work with the highest caliber of college students in the world by offering the most challenging and most rewarding summer program available. Under the leadership of personal sales mentors, students operate their own independent business selling the Southwestern Advantage Learning System directly to families face-to-face in USA and Canada. Our integrated suite of print, software, and online resources develops both academic skills and success principles in students from pre-K through high school. Each sale of the Southwestern Advantage Learning System generates a 1 to 1 matched product donation to a non-profit organization that helps children via our 'Share The Advantage' program. Student reps are thoroughly trained in how to generate prospects, leads, and referrals over the course of their summer break; a system proven to work effectively for over 155 years. The Southwestern Advantage Sales & Leadership Program is designed to be the best opportunity for personal and professional growth for college students. Southwestern student reps are able to learn and practice the principles of professional salesmanship, business management, team building, and organizational leadership as they operate their own independent businesses.
