The East Nashville School of Music sends its condolences to friends and family of Beegie Adair.

Part of the reason why we are what we are is because she was what she was: founder of the Nashville Jazz Workshop, phenomenal player and improviser, staple of our jazz scene, educator, wonderful person.

Thank you, Beegie Adair. There is not a person who came through our doors that was not affected by your work.

The East Nashville School of Music is grateful for Dan and Ellen Einstein, both of whom helped build this unique neighborhood with their warmth, kindness, talent, and unbelievably delicious treats at Sweet 16th bakery.

Dan Einstein, beloved Sweet 16th Bakery owner and music industry veteran, dies at 61 Dan Einstein, a beloved baker and one-time independent record label founder, died Saturday.
