Dear Alumni and Friends of PPP,
Only one week remains to make your contribution to the Anniversary Alumni Page in the playbill for our spring musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, dedicated to the 50th Anniversary of PPP and the 45th Anniversary of GHS-TV.
For almost two decades, PPP has produced this beloved musical. Today, a new generation of students is bringing it back to life. Some alumni have already returned to help produce the show, and we are grateful to each of them — especially our musical director, Mackenzie Kuykendoll.
We deeply appreciate everyone who has already made a generous donation. We are just three hundred dollars away from reaching our goal this year. There is no small gift — every penny from this ad campaign directly benefits our students in the Fine Arts Department.

Dear Alumni and Friends,
"With a heart such as yours, you can open any doors; you can go out and do anything!" — this inspiring line from the musical You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown still resonates nearly four decades after Poplar Pike Playhouse first brought the show to life. Now, just three weeks from today, that same production will return to our stage, continuing a legacy that spans 40 years and unites the generosity of alumni from the 1990s with the passion of today’s students.
This proud tradition, founded by the creator of the Fine Arts Department at GHS, Frank Bluestein, has thrived year after year thanks to the steadfast support of alumni like you. For so many, GHS-TV studios and Poplar Pike Playhouse are much more than just spaces—they’re alive with the energy, dreams, and memories of generations of students who discovered their talents and found success here. These spaces remain a meaningful part of their journey, connecting them to their roots while inspiring new adventures ahead.
As part of our annual tradition, we’re working to complete a full-page tribute ad in this year’s playbook, honoring alumnus Thay Floyd and sponsored by GHS graduates. Our fundraising goal is $1,500, and while we’re almost there, we need a little more support to cross the finish line. Many of you have already donated, and we are truly grateful for your generosity. If you haven’t had a chance yet, please consider contributing—every donation, big or small, makes a meaningful impact.
Here’s how you can help:
The easiest way to donate is online at this link: https://www.tix.com/ticket-sales/tix/703/donations. Select the "PPP Alumni Ad - Spring Musical Playbill" option and follow the steps to complete your donation. No password is required—simply check in as a guest.

The premiere of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown will take place on March 28 and run through April 6. We would be thrilled to have you join us to celebrate this incredible milestone and share in the legacy you helped build.
With gratitude,
Leonid Mazor
