What a wonderful week celebrating the nature of God and who God is! It was fabulous and we enjoyed having your children. Today we got to meet, Howie the howler monkey! He taught us that God is Forever! We read from Revelation about what Heaven might look like with the amazing streets of gold. We learned that we can Praise the Lord forever in sticky scripture. Even though VBS has to end, we know that God’s love for us will never end.
We want to invite you to attend Our Savior Lutheran church on Sunday morning. We will be having all VBS participants come up to sing the theme song, God Is, during the church service. They can wear their VBS shirts to church. We have a traditional service at 8:00am and offer a contemporary service at 10:45am. You can choose whatever service works best for your family. We also have Sunday School classes available for 3yr olds through rising 6th graders.
I am also pleased to tell you that we have raised $6434 (including matching funds) for Stronghold Cambodia!!! We have more than enough money for the tuktuk. You all were amazing! THANK YOU!!! We had Pastor Jesse from Stronghold Cambodia on zoom the morning. Even though it was 9pm in Cambodia, he stayed up late to zoom with us and pray for us. It was a blessing to tell him in person that you all raised enough money for the tuk tuk!
Thank you all for a great week!!

Today we met Tia the Giant Anteater who taught us that God is love! God loved us so much he sent his son Jesus to die on the cross for all our sins. He rose again on Easter morning and saved us so we can spend forever with him in heaven!
I can’t believe tomorrow is our last day of VBS. This week has been going by so fast. It has been a wonderful week and I am so thankful that we got to learn about God’s nature with your children this week. Tomorrow we invite all parents to join us for our last Closing in the sanctuary from 11:35-12:00. We will sing and wrap up the week. We would love to have you join us.
We want to also invite you to attend Our Savior Lutheran church on Sunday morning. We will be having all VBS participants come up to sing the theme song, God Is, during the church service. I also have wonderful news for you about our VBS offerings for the tuk tuk. We have raised $4135 dollars (including matching funds)!!! This is amazing. We have the privilege to do a zoom call with Pastor Jesse from Stronghold Cambodia. We will do a final count of our offerings in the morning so that we can share the good news with him live at 9:05am! Thank you so much for your donations. If you want to write a check, please make checks payable to “Mission of Christ Network” and write “Stronghold TukTuk” on the memo line.

What another wonderful day at Rainforest Falls VBS! We met Dottie the Ocelot who taught us a lot! She showed us that God is our safe place, and place of refuge. We did a fun experiment with dropping an egg, and found that that when the egg was in its safe place it could be dropped from very high and still not break! This reminds us all that we will go through hard times, but that God is our safe place when we do go through those hard times. He is there protecting us.
We have raised over $1200 dollars (including matching funds) for the Tuk Tuk so far. This tuk tuk will truly be a blessing for these children to travel the 3 miles to the new soccer field. Thank you so much for your donations. If you want to write a check, please make checks payable to “Mission of Christ Network” and write “Stronghold TukTuk” on the memo line.

Today we met Seymour the glass frog and he taught us that God Knows Everything! Our Bible Story today was about David writing the Psalms. Our Sticky Scripture was Psalm 139:1 “Oh Lord, You have examined my heart and know everything about me.” We talked about how God knows what is hidden in our hearts. Our Preschool students made froggy headbands and our Elementary students examined nature up close with magnifying glasses. It was a wonderful day at Rainforest Falls!
We have raised $670 dollars (including matching funds) for the Tuk Tuk so far. Thank you all for your generosity. If you have not gotten your picture in the tuk tuk yet, you can do that before or after VBS. We are enjoying a slide show of all the kids in the tuk tuk. If you want to write a check, please make checks payable to “Mission of Christ Network” and write “Stronghold TukTuk” on the memo line.

We had a successful DAY 1 at VBS today! We met our Bible Buddy, Tango, who taught us that God is our Creator! The children learned about the story of creation in Bible Adventure, studied Psalms in Sticky Scripture, played Tail Tag inside, and many other exciting things.
We raised $140 dollars today for the TukTuk, and are well on our way towards our goal. We had a presentation today from Tim and Diane Esala, who are missionaries from Stronghold Cambodia. They are leading our Elementary Bible Adventure this week, and our VBS offerings are going towards a TukTuk for their school in Cambodia. If you want to write a check, please make checks payable to “Mission of Christ Network” and write “Stronghold TukTuk” on the memo line.
Can’t wait for Day 2 tomorrow!!
