We are grateful to Dr. Ismail Fidan, a STEM educator, researcher, academic leader, and Nashville School of Excellence board member, for speaking in support of our school during the MNPS Board meeting.

📢 Our Next Step: Public Hearing

Nashville School of Excellence’s public hearing has officially been scheduled!

With the support of 46 community organizations, 37 letters of support, and 539 interested parents, we’ve come this far together.

Our volunteers are at the heart of our community outreach!

We wouldn’t be able to reach so many families and share the mission and vision of Nashville School of Excellence without their dedication and hard work on the ground.

A special thank you to all of our volunteers who have helped us connect directly with families across Nashville. With their support, we have now reached more than 538 parents who have expressed interest in our school.

We’re grateful for your time, energy, and commitment to our students and community!

Connecting with Nashville, one community at a time! 💙💛

So far this year, Nashville School of Excellence has participated in 28 community events and festivals across Nashville, giving us the opportunity to meet families, connect with parents, and share our vision for NSE.

We’re grateful for every conversation, connection, and family who has taken the time to learn more about our school. We look forward to continuing to build strong relationships throughout the Nashville community!

We had the pleasure of visiting State Representative Mark White on behalf of the Nashville School of Excellence. We’re grateful for his warm welcome and for his continued service and dedication to the people of Tennessee.
As a leader with a strong background in education, we believe that with his support, the Nashville School of Excellence will be well positioned to deliver meaningful and lasting impact for students and families in our community.

On July 28, at the MNPS Board meeting, dozens of Nashville School of Excellence supporters showed up to make their voices heard. Among them, Arlene Martin spoke during public comment, sharing that NSE met with over 40 nonprofits and received 37 letters of support. Plus, 400 families completed interest forms. The message is clear: the community wants NSE!
