Students, you have an opportunity to hear from HFA Alum and Grammy winner Fyutch Tuesday during lunch! From the halls of Hume-Fogg to Belmont and beyond, we’re so proud to call him a Blue Knight.

We had some very precious Lunch and Learn guests today! Meet Hume and Fogg, two adoptable puppies available at the Nashville Humane Association (NHA). Thank you to Laura Baker from NHA for sharing her career path with us, and Chris and Addie Hilton for arranging this special Lunch and Learn!

Actor returns to Nashville high school, Taylor Swift music video site Tyler Hilton, the "One Tree Hill" actor, met with 900 students at the Nashville school where he filmed Taylor Swift's "Teardrops on My Guitar" video.

Who’s Hume-Fogg’s Blue Knight speaker? Here’s a hint: he’s actually been to Hume-Fogg before. Get ready, Blue Knights. You’re in for a treat on Wednesday!

Hume-Fogg has honored those who serve since World War I. Students, we’d love for you to write the name of someone (living or deceased) who has served on one of these hands.

We’re excited about our upcoming veterans-focused Lunch and Learns, starting with Vietnam Veterans this Wednesday! We hope that many Hume-Fogg students attend.

Lunch and Learns start this week! 😍

Such a great first week of school. Welcoming students back to the Castle, receiving packages with items from our wishlist bought by parents/family/friends, collab with the teen center at NPL (playing Super Smash Brothers), and our first sticker Friday! Also distributed 900 computers, checked out 75 calculators, and helped seniors find some great memoirs. Ready to do it again next week, after Mrs. North and Mrs. Smithfield catch up on 💤💤💤🥱

Only three more days until students return! We’ll be open from 7:15-5:30 everyday while the Main Library is still closed. Our friends from the teen center will be coming over to do activities with students after school Monday-Thursday until they reopen. Here are the activities for this week. 😍😍😍

Hume-Fogg library wishlist: At Hume-Fogg, our library is a vibrant hub of learning, support, and community.

In addition to offering a wide selection of books and engaging programming (like Lunch and Learns), we also provide thoughtful resources to support students' well-being. Our self-care center, located in the restroom, is fully stocked with period products, hair ties, dry shampoo, and so much more to offer comfort throughout the day. We distribute mints and Life Savers to help students reset and recharge, and every Friday, we share stickers to celebrate the end of the week.
