USN Evening Classes (USNA) Registration for 2020 Evening Classes is now open. Like us for updates! We're a 'Nashville original' entering our 28th year.

Our unique, useful, and universally praised classes brighten up winter evenings. We explore cooking, gardening, travel, parenting, home renovation and much more. Classes are open to Nashville and surrounding communities. Proceeds benefit the USN need-based scholarship fund.

*MARCH 2* Color your world with wearable art! Join local artist MICHELLE TRACHTMAN for this fun, hands-on class, you’ll design and create your very own Mosaic pendant! Each participant will choose from a variety of shapes for a pendant that also includes a ball chain necklace. Using vibrant hand-painted glass tiles, you will learn how to arrange your chosen colors and patterns, set them securely and finish your pieces to wear proudly. These pendant necklaces didn’t come to play — they came to slay! Each one is a little rebel with a cause: to turn heads and spark joy. No experience is needed — just bring your creativity and love for color! By the end of class, you’ll take home a unique pendant that reflects your style — perfect to keep, wear, or gift. 🤩 FEB 17 @ 6 PM 🤩 Whether you’re a spirits connoisseur or just looking to shake up your home bar routine, you’ll leave Rice Vice with a new appreciation for locally distilled Japanese spirits and the skills to mix them for your next gathering. In this workshop, you will:

✨Taste through our house-made categories to identify how different base ingredients shape the spirit’s profile.
✨Go behind the scenes to learn about the distillation process used right here at Proper Sake.
✨Learn the “Maewari” method and other traditional serving techniques.
✨Taste two signature cocktails designed by our bartenders to highlight the nuances of our house shochu.

Link in stories. ✨🦅✨WHATS THIS CLASS ABOUT: Tennessee is home to a diverse array of bird species, numbering in the hundreds, each exhibiting unique and captivating characteristics throughout their life cycles. In this class we’ll explore some common and not so common species with surprising behaviors as well as practical strategies to reduce bird fatalities caused by bird striking windows.
