For our October philanthropy project, NSSLHA partnered with FairPlay to learn how to make switch adapted toys for children with motor differences! We adapted over 18 toys to be donated to an adapted toy library. Visit on Instagram to learn more about their organization!

September is Hunger Action Month! 1 in 8 Middle Tennesseans struggle with hunger. Members of NSSLHA and other volunteers spent the afternoon sorting 5,199 pounds of fresh produce to go back into the community. A group of students and clinicians at Vanderbilt Medical Center is raising money to create a library of adapted toys for families to borrow so that their children can have experiences playing like every other child.
